In Conversation with Julien Bergeron

11 November, 2017

It's Autumn and arguably, the best of the seasons. The weather is mild with just a bit of crispness.  We feel motivated and inspired. Perhaps we’re conditioned from the school schedules of our youth, but we’re itching to be productive.

Appropriately enough, we turn to a university student to share his essentials for the coming season. Julien Bergeron is a 21 year-old student at the University of Limoges and the writer behind French fashion and lifestyle blog, Hensenberge. He works on Heisenberge with his girlfriend, Melissa, who is the force behind the photos on the site.

Juline

Here are Julien’s picks from our shop for Autumn season:

Julien hip bag stone

First up is the HÄNSKA hip bag. Julien doesn’t leave the house without a bag and deems this bag as perfect in size. Plus, he finds the style to be truly original.

Hand cream is a must. Julien selected the black jasmine hand balm from Compagnie De Provence. In fact, he confesses this one is a perennial necessity for him.

cereal magazine

A magazine is a must and Cereal tops the list as Julien’s favourite. He derives much inspiration from it and finds the photos to be consistently beautiful.

rains jacket smoke

His last item is a rain jacket from Rains. Light, water resistant and minimal in style—it’s an Autumn wardrobe essential and, in his opinion, the best rain jacket. He didn’t go anywhere without it during a visit to Paris.

A few tidbits before we say goodbye. We loved that the word, Heinsenberge, is a cheeky mashup of Heinsenberg (of to Breaking Bad fame) and Julien’s surname. Also, if you didn’t see it before, do check out the lovely write up of Whitebeam Shop that Julien posted back in Spring.

Thanks for checking in with us at the Whitebeam Shop. Til next time…
